Concert photographs: check the rules before packing a camera
Permission to bring equipment and permission to use an image afterwards are different questions.

A Billy Talent ticket does not automatically permit every camera or every subsequent use of a photograph. Conditions depend on the event, venue and equipment. Read current instructions before packing. General visitor information is a starting point, with date-specific rules potentially adding further requirements. This fanpage cannot issue photography permission or accreditation on behalf of a venue, organiser or artist.
Read equipment descriptions carefully
Admission rules may distinguish phones, compact cameras and larger equipment. Do not assume a device is allowed simply because it looks small. Where an important point remains unclear, ask using the actual model or equipment description. The reply can then address your situation instead of repeating a broad rule that leaves the relevant detail unresolved.
Permission for still photographs is not automatically permission for extended video recording or additional accessories. Tripods, interchangeable lenses and other items may have separate conditions. Information about a different event in the same building is not enough. Bring equipment whose admission has been established for your date rather than relying on an argument at the entrance to settle the matter.
Do not replace other people's view with your recording
Consideration matters even when a device is permitted. A continuously raised screen can obstruct others. Choose brief opportunities rather than experiencing the whole performance through a display. Avoid climbing into unsafe positions to photograph over people. A souvenir does not justify obstructive behaviour or risky movement within an audience, and a photograph is not worth making someone else's visit unnecessarily difficult.
Publication raises another question: what does the picture show, and which uses are permitted? An admission rule does not resolve every issue concerning subject matter, recognisable people or commercial reuse. If intending to use an image in a project, investigate those issues separately. A fan article should not assume that everything personally photographed is available for unrestricted exploitation.
A private memory may need only a few clearly identified images. Record date and place without publicly exposing ticket codes or other people's personal details. A useful description states what is visible rather than inventing proximity to the band. The result remains an honest reminder of a concert, not supposed evidence of access that the photographer never had.
